Small Business Lending
The Lending Department offers a variety of loan products for small businesses that are unable to qualify for bank financing. Businesses that can demonstrate professionalism, satisfactory credit, and positive cash flow, but may not have profit levels necessary for conventional banking, meet CDC's general qualifications.Storm Sandy Emergency Loan Fund
The Storm Sandy Emergency Loan Fund was established with $10.0 million to support independently owned and operated businesses that have fewer than 100 employees and are located in the regions designated as disaster areas in Nassau and Suffolk counties. To be eligible for funding the companies must have filed 2011 business tax returns and must have experienced direct damage or economic hardship as a result of Hurricane Sandy.

CDC's loan programs assist small businesses start, maintain and grow by providing reasonably priced loan resources and technical assistance in the form of training and consultation.
