CDCLI provides a grant to homeowners throughout Long Island who need repairs to their home. All work conforms to the latest green and healthy home standards. The Home Improvement Program typical repairs include: electrical service upgrades; electrical wiring; heating and air conditioning repairs; roof replacement; energy efficiency measures; structural corrections; steps; stoops; walkways and health & safety measures.
A work scope is developed by a qualified housing inspector who will evaluate your home’s needs and help you get the assistance you need. The work is then put out to bid to a list of approved, licensed and insured contractors.
CDCLI staff provides construction supervision and a final inspection to ensure that all work is completed in accordance with the specifications and building codes, and to your satisfaction. All work conforms to the latest green and healthy home standards.
