Freeport Community to Reclaim Foreclosed Homes
Community Development Corporation of Long Island, together with the Village of Freeport, Nassau County, and local residents, will hold a Press Conference on Thursday, June 11, 2009, 930 a.m., to announce the roll-out of Reclaim Long Island Homes program in the Village of Freeport.
CDC of Long Island in partnership with Nassau County and the Village of Freeport will work to acquire foreclosed and boarded up homes, rehabilitate them, and offer them for purchase to eligible first time homebuyers. All media outlets, prospective home buyers, and other interested citizens are invited to attend this kick-off event.
