Calling All Nassau County Residents!
October 2021 Update: The Nassau County Rental Assistance Program can make rental payments for eligible recipients up to six months if recipients can demonstrate an ongoing need.
Eligibility Criteria:
- At some point on or after March 13, 2020, did you or a member of your household experience a reduction in income, receive unemployment, or face financial hardship?
- Are you behind on rental payments or utility payments from some point on or after March 13, 2020?
- Is your household income at or below 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI)?
Monthly rental payments can go up to HUD’s established 2020 Fair Market Rents by unit size, (see below for full details).
