 Press conference at the Town of Huntington Senior Center on June 9, 2009 to launch the weatherization partnership between Town of Huntington and CDC. This partnership will leverage the Town’s rehabilitation funds with CDC’s Weatherization Assistance Program funds to delivery energy efficiency to low income, eligible residents of the Town of Huntington. |

Weatherization Stimulus Money
 U.S. Congressman Tim Bishop held a press conference at Greenwood Village, a senior citizen complex in Manorville, on June 1 to announce the stimulus funding for weatherization services. Marianne Garvin shared with an assembled group of over 50 residents the good news that CDC will be providing more weatherization services throughout Long Island as a result of the $10.5 million in funding that CDC will be administering. |
