Workforce Housing Rental Opportunity
Community Development Corporation of Long Island, Inc. (CDCLI), in partnership with FRC Indian Crest, LLC, and the Town of Smithtown, is accepting Lottery Applications for four (4) newly constructed Workforce Housing Rental Units within Hudson Place at Kings Park, consisting of 3 one-bedroom units and 1 two-bedroom unit.
Hudson Place at Kings Park is a 36-unit development located at 262 Indian Head Road in Kings Park, NY. The gross annual income of occupants for the 4 Workforce Housing Rental Units cannot exceed 130% of the HUD Area Median Income for Suffolk County, adjusted for family size. Minimum incomes are required to ensure occupants are not paying more than 33% of their gross annual income on housing expenses (rent plus a utility allowance). The maximum and minimum initial income limits, and rents are as follows:
1 Bedroom: $2,187 Net Rent, reflects utility adjustment
Family Size of 1 income: $83,636 – $106,200
Family Size of 2 income: $83,636 – $121,350
2 Bedroom: $3,066 Net Rent, reflects utility adjustment
Family Size of 2 income: $116,363 – $121,350
Family Size of 3 income: $116,363 – $136,550
Family Size of 4 income: $116,363 – $151,700
Lottery Applications may be completed on-line or by delivering a hard copy to CDCLI at its office located at 2100 Middle Country Road, Centereach, NY 11720. Lottery Applications are available on CDCLI’s website at www.cdcli.org and at CDCLI’s office: 2100 Middle Country Road, Centereach, NY 11720. Acceptance into the Lottery does not guarantee approval or eligibility for a unit. Lottery applicants are placed on a wait list in the order in which they are randomly selected and ranked in the Lottery.
Fully completed Lottery Applications must be received (not postmarked) by 5:00 pm on March 22, 2019.
The Lottery will be held on March 26, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at the Town of Smithtown Board Room, 99 W. Main Street, Smithtown, NY, 2nd floor.
