CDCLI Annual Luncheon

Friday, October 13, 2017
Crest Hollow Country Club
Networking: 11:30am-12:30pm
Luncheon: 12:30pm-1:30pm

The Annual Luncheon is CDCLI’s signature annual fund raising event and our celebration with our partners – all of whom help us to continue our mission of providing solutions to foster and maintain vibrant, equitable, and sustainable communities on Long Island.

We are proud to honor two of our partners who have done so much to provide capital for housing opportunities: Federal Home Loan Bank of New York and National Grid. Both organizations have and continue to support revitalization initiatives that are transforming downtown neighborhoods into vibrant communities where the next generation of New Yorkers will want to live, work, and raise families. These initiatives aim to foster a sense of community by giving new life to under-performing downtowns and commercial corridors, and increase the supply of affordable rental housing for low- and moderate-income families. CDCLI is able to invest in the dreams of Long Islanders because of the dedication of our valued partners in the public and private sectors. Additionally, we are also proud to honor former CDCLI President and CEO, Marianne Garvin, to commemorate three decades of service in community development.

Funds raised help us deliver critical services to thousands of Long Islanders throughout the year. Since its inception 48 years ago, CDCLI has been a significant force for revitalizing and building strong communities, because home matters for all people. We have assisted over 200,000 Long Islanders and invested $1.3 billion into communities. Last fiscal year alone, CDCLI served 19,000 Long Islanders while investing over $134 million.
